Sinfonia concertante – 27 min
Based on the true story of train robbery somewehere between Florens and Camucia in beautiful Italy. Dedicated to Maria Hansson, Perugia and Ivo Meattini, Cortona (the shoe vendor at the corner – he shows up in the end of the piece, listen to the trombone section who whipers softly in Italian…). They helped my out from a situation that seemed hopeless for a while.
First performance 12/3 at Helsingborg Concert Hall, Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra where I was Composer in Residence 2006-09.
